God’s Calling
Good morning to you, friend. Today, LFM’s own Rich Hurst shares our Sunday Extra message, which he preached last Sunday at a church in Dardenne, Missouri. Rich has served for years in pastoral leadership, is an author and editor, and has much experience consulting schools and non-profits, government agencies, and churches and ministries from a broad range of denominations. With LFM, he partners with churches, mentors leaders, and directs our ministry teams. Grab a copy of God’s Word and ask Him to speak to you as you listen. Rich challenges us with the reality that developing and using our God-given gifts is what disciples of Jesus do.
“Hope for the future”
LFM has led a visioning process for several years with another church in the greater St. Louis area of Missouri. The pastor shared with LFM his perspective on our partnering work. Please pray for the pastor and this congregation as they seek to be faithful to God’s calling:
“Clarifying direction in consistent and concise ways has begun to free up our leadership to take more responsibility and initiative. Reorganizing and directing us to a ‘true north’ have given several of our leaders hope for the future mission of this Church. We are spiritually more fit for the mission of the Kingdom, thanks to LFM.”
