God Came Personally
Greetings to you on this third Sunday of Advent. We hope your December includes time to pause and remember the Savior of the world. Today, Marnie Crumpler of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, shares God’s Word with us. She talks about how God came to a real place in time and manifested His ministry locally. The Lord worked personally in Mary, Joseph, and the shepherds, and to this day He continues drawing people close to Himself. Jesus still comes in a very personal way.
Marnie and her husband Mark participate in LFM’s discipleship process within their congregation. It’s exciting to see this initiative unfold within their congregation, which is now in the second year.
The Arrow Tribe
We enjoy celebrating ways your prayers and gifts touch lives all over the world. LFM is passionate about supporting healthy leaders and thriving ministries. One way we do that is through whole-life mentoring groups of Christian leaders around the world.
LFM’s Arrow Tribe recently met in India for their yearly gathering. Wesley Paul, their leader, shared, “I am so grateful for all that you do to support our mentoring group and my ministry to raise up godly leaders.”
The group includes pastors, evangelists, and artists from Kenya, India, and the United States. One of them, Harrison from Washington state, expressed, “I am grateful to LFM for sponsoring my trip and giving me an opportunity to have a mentor and community of leaders through whom I gained a lot of wisdom and insight on matters of evangelism, ministry, and personal growth. I want to extend a heart-felt thank you.”
Let’s pray for the Arrow Tribe as they continue in their own lives and ministries. May they “stand firm in the faith” and do “everything in love” (1 Corinthians 16:13-14 NIV).
