Christmas Joy
Today, on this fourth Sunday of Advent, LFM’s Jim Singleton brings us a message today from God’s Word. Serving as our Executive Director of North American Mentoring Services, he enjoys connecting with many pastors and leaders across the country. Jim speaks about joy in a sermon he preached last week at Texas church. Numerous Christmas cards and carols contain the word “joy.” Jim explores the difference between joy and happiness in today’s Sunday Extra.
Full of Grace and Truth
During this week of Christmas, believers all over the world remember the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to our world. We rejoice in the reality that the “Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14 NIV).
Many pastors and families of church staff members can find the December season an extra stressful time with a multitude of church activities. Let’s pray this week for these servants of the King at the church where you worship. Ask the Lord to strengthen and encourage them – and help them to truly experience Christ this Christmas.
