Covenant Faithfulness
Today, our friend Rhett Wilson shares God’s Word with us. Rhett serves on staff at LFM, helping with our communications and mentoring initiatives. He also serves as a bivocational pastor in South Carolina. Rhett recently wrote a book for families called The 7 Ps of Prayer: A Simple Method to Pray for Your Family. During a spring series based on the book of Ruth, he pauses to look at an important Old Testament word. Listen as Rhett explores the covenant faithfulness of the Lord, who has given us His hesed.
His Glorious Power
A few weeks ago, Leighton Ford was diagnosed with bladder cancer. They caught it early and the doctors have said it is not life-threatening. They don’t believe it has spread. He will have surgery on May 31, so we ask for you to join us in prayer for him. While this is not life-threatening cancer, any surgery at 92 can be problematic. This week, please pray with us for Leighton, who has loved, mentored, and encouraged so many people, including young ministry leaders.
Let’s also pray for our friend and LFM mentor Wesley Paul as he travels to Ethiopia to plan future evangelistic rallies. May they both “be strengthened with all his glorious power so [they] will have all the endurance and patience [they] need. May [he] be filled with joy” (Colossians 1:11 NLT).
