Building on a Vision
Greetings, friend! Aaron Stewart, a pastor from University Place, Washington, shares this week’s message from God’s Word. Kevin Ford led the church through a two -stage visioning process from 2014-2017.
The results were amazing as the church now serves 3,000 people a month through their Food Bank, has the largest preschool in Washington State, is seeing significant growth in attendance, and is known regionally as THE church for single parent families. To God be the glory!
Aaron builds on their church’s vision, sharing more pieces for current implementation. He concludes by urging them to share a growing concern for people who do not know Christ.
Aaron recently shared this with us: “Attendance in worship has increased dramatically for the first time in 13 years. Over a seven-day period in December we had 5000 people attend services. We are grateful and a bit overwhelmed too! Of course, we owe so much of our journey to our partnership with LFM. I love that your philosophy is to help churches find their own distinctive voice and identity. That has been the secret sauce for us as it has given our people a confidence and boldness for ministry initiatives.”

A Simple Method of Prayer
We’re pleased to announce a new book by Rhett Wilson, Sr., who leads our communication efforts at LFM. The 7 Ps of Prayer: A Simple Method to Pray for Your Family, will be released in mid-September from End Game Press. As a parent of preschoolers, Rhett wanted a method to pray as a shield around his children. He developed a simple prayer strategy, using seven words that each begins with the letter P – one word for each day of the week. Click here to learn more about the book.
