The Face of Others
Good day to you, Sunday Extra friend! On this first Lord’s Day of autumn, Ken Shigematsu of Vancouver, British Columbia, shares our message. Ken continues last week’s theme of your transformation in becoming the person God created you to be. Near the end of “Seeing God in the Face of Others,” he shares a story about Leighton Ford’s significant influence and investment in his life. May our Lord continue transforming each of us into that person He created us to be.
A Blessing from the Lord
Let’s join together this week praying for some kingdom efforts. Kevin Ford leads a visioning retreat later this week for a church in Pittsford, New York. Then, the first week of October, we have more than a dozen pastors from across North America gathering near Blowing Rock, North Carolina, for a mentoring experience as we equip them to pour their life into other ministry leaders. Please pray with us now for that gathering, that they will “receive a blessing from the LORD” (Psalm 24:5 AMP).
