Making Disciples
Good morning to you, Sunday Extra friend! Today LFM’s own Jim Singleton shares God’s Word with us. He delivered this message a few weeks ago at a church in Pennsylvania. Jim dives into one of Jesus’ most important exhortations to the church: to make disciples. One way Leighton Ford Ministries tries to assist congregations is by helping them think through how they can actually, practically make disciples.
Praying for Peace
This week our LFM staff are involved in various ministry opportunities: “brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored” (2 Thessalonians 3:1 NIV).
Let’s intercede for these staff members as they minister God’s grace and truth. Jim Singleton is speaking in Western Pennsylvania early this week. Rhett Wilson leads a prayer retreat for pastors in South Carolina Monday and Tuesday. Mark Slaughter speaks this week at the Amplify Evangelism Conference at the Billy Graham Center in Wheaton, Illinois. And Kevin Ford leads a retreat this coming weekend in Pittsford, New York. We’re thankful for these and other open doors for the Gospel!
