Sunday Extra: My Life is in His Hand
I watched Leighton preach this sermon for the first time this week. It blew me away because this sermon was preached in 1965 on Youth night at the Vancouver Crusade, and I thought I was listening to someone talk about our world right now.
Leighton’s ability to interpret culture and help us see a way forward is refreshing. In the early days of the Billy Graham crusades, several Canadians helped the team understand the ethos of the Canadian faith. Those included George Beverly Shea, Ted Smith, and our own Leighton Ford. This sermon will cause you to pause and reflect on our world today, and I hope it will encourage you to join with us for what God wants to do with each of us individually and as a team for the cause of Christ.
