God’s Covenantal Faithfulness
Today James Hodsden brings our Sunday Extra message. James pastors a church in Ohio that participates in one of our Transforming Church cohorts. LFM partnered with them through a visioning process to help them with alignment and mission. Starting with Hosea 6, James discusses one of the most important concepts in the Bible – the Hebrew word “hesed.” This word speaks of God’s covenantal, faithful, never-ending love and grace He showers upon His children. May the Lord refresh you with the reminder of His hesed.
Continually Asking God
Pray for Leighton Ford as he recovers from a second surgery for bladder cancer. He is in good spirits. We will know about next steps within the next two weeks. Also, this past week our LFM staff met for a strategic planning session. Please pray for us as we seek the Lord about the ways He wants us to invest in healthy leaders and thriving ministries in 2025.
We remember the words of the apostle Paul, who prayed for the church in Colossae, “We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work” (Colossians 1:9-10 NIV).
