Things to Remember
Today we bring to you Claude Alexander from Charlotte, North Carolina. Claude serves on our Board of Advisors at Leighton Ford Ministries. He begins his sermon with an announcement of his coming sabbatical. What he says here highlights what we do and why we do it at LFM. We know how the rhythms of ministry can deplete a person, and we want to provide safe times, safe places, and safe people for pastors and other ministry leaders.
Claude gives a beautiful sermon on the tiny book of Jude. He spends most of his time on the concluding benediction, which reminds us of God’s keeping power throughout our lives. It is a very encouraging word.
He Leadeth Me
As we thank God for His ever-watchful care, we remember the words of the hymn writer who said, “He leadeth me, o blessed though! O words with heavenly comfort fraught! Whate’er I do, whate’er I be, still ‘tis God’s hand that leadeth me.”
Let’s thank the Lord today for His leading us through life’s hills and valleys. And let’s pray for God’s guidance as LFM continues as friends on the journey for pastors and churches. Today, Jim Singleton preaches at a church in Dallas, Texas. And let’s pray for the Lord to open doors and make divine connections this year for LFM to partner with pastors and churches in North America and around the world.
