A Song in the Night
Good morning! Welcome to Sunday Extra, where today, Jennifer Holz of Colorado Springs shares our message. She brings an important word from Psalm 77 about the dynamic of depression in the life of Christians. Jennifer helps us see that many sincere believers struggle with depression – some for years. The psalmist challenges us to “remember our song in the night” (77:6 AMP) even in difficult days. Jennifer participates in a coaching project with Jim Singleton about preaching.
Space4Grace
LFM equips mentoring groups all over the world to help sustain healthy leaders of thriving ministries. The mentoring community, Space4Grace, met in early August in Grants Pass, Oregon. MaryKate Morse leads the group. She shared with us, “This year we had deaths of three parents in the group, so it was a hard time, but we also were able to tell stories and celebrate their lives.” Please pray for the members of Space4Grace as they move forward in their lives and ministries.
Let’s also pray for Kevin Ford this weekend as he leads a follow-up retreat for a church in Branson, Missouri.
