Come
David Swanson, who serves on LFM’s Strategic Advisory Board, pastors a congregation in Orlando, Florida, where he has ministered for almost 20 years. LFM has partnered with David’s church several times over the last 7 years. The dividends are paying off as the church is making a significant Kingdom impact in downtown Orlando and has developed a robust Fellows Program that is attracting young leaders across America. Through LFM’s partnering with a church, we become friends on a multi-year journey based on listening, research, and coaching. Together, we develop a custom roadmap to guide churches into the next phase of vibrant ministry.
David recently completed a ten-month series on the Book of Revelation. Today’s message concludes that series as he preaches on the final verses of Revelation (22:17-21). The title is simply the word “Come” – as Jesus ever invites us to come to Him. May you be renewed by our Lord’s invitation.
Mentoring Others
One of our joys at LFM continues to be mentoring leaders who can be healthy and then lead thriving ministries. Let’s pray this week as another group of ministry leaders meets for an LFM Mentoring Gathering. Under the leadership of LFM’s MaryKate Morse and Jim Singleton, they will gather in Spokane, Washington, in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Pray for the Lord to refresh them all, meeting them individually to instruct, guide, and replenish, as well as giving them vision for how they can multiply their lives into others in the future.
