A Plentiful Harvest
Ellis White, who serves a church in Gig Harbor, Washington, shares our Sunday Extra today. Kevin Ford partnered with the church several years ago on their strategic plan. Ellis is a gifted associate pastor. Today he challenges us to enter the harvest for those who need Christ with a message from Luke 10:1-24 entitled, “The Harvest is Plentiful.”
Standing Firm in God’s Power
Please pray with us this week as several of our LFM staff members are sharing the Word of God and serving others in various capacities. Jim Singleton is teaching, preaching, and working with a pastor in Wilmington, North Carolina, this weekend. Tim Helms continues to work at the Joni & Friends Family Retreat in North Carolina. Dave McKechnie preaches this morning in Charlotte. And Nick Hurst will be preaching at the Murang’a Kenya Festival Crusade in Greater Nairobi, Kenya.
Let’s pray for them to all be fitted with the “full armor of God” so that “you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything to stand. . . . Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel” (Ephesians 6:13,19 NIV).
