What if God’s Call is More Than You Can Imagine?
“What if this call is just for you?”
That’s basically the question posed to Queen Esther from her uncle Mordecai. This Friday on LiveCalled Today, LFM’s Jim Singleton takes you to this Old Testament book which contains a thrilling account of drama, intrigue, danger, and deliverance. God providentially places Esther in a place of influence. And through the mentorship and coaching of her uncle, she discerns the specific calling for which God brought her into the Persian kingdom.

The Bible repeatedly reveals that God, our Creator, designed specific ways for each of us individually to trust Him, bring Him glory, and impact others. Those callings require faith, risk, and movement on our part, and, like Esther, we are wise to earnestly seek out the purposes for which He created us. As the apostle Paul wrote, “We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10 NIV). What does it mean for you, today, to accept God’s assignment to glorify Him and serve others?
