A Mentoring Pastor
Bobby Warrenburg, a pastor from Beverly Farms, Massachusetts, shares our first Sunday Extra message of 2024. Pastor Bobby became connected to LFM over a year ago as he partnered with us through our coaching ministry. He first became acquainted with LFM as he participated in a continuing education course at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary led by Kevin Ford.
Making the Most
The New Testament exhorts us, “Make the most of every opportunity . . . . Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do” (Ephesians 5:15-16 NLT). Today, and this week, let’s ask the Lord to help us maximize our lives and opportunities this year – and understand how He wants us to invest ourselves in the months ahead.
Donald Whitney, a professor of Spiritual Formation, offers excellent advice for a new year in his article, 10 Questions to Ask at the Start of a New Year. He writes, “Let’s evaluate our lives, make plans and goals, and live this new year with biblical diligence.” May the Lord help each one of us do to just that.
