Sunday Extra: Everyone Needs Redemption

Dave McKechnie uses the story of Ruth and Boaz to teach how everyone needs redemption.

On Sunday Extra this week, Dr. Dave McKechnie is speaking at Carmel Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. He tells the story about Naomi and Ruth, a Gentile from Moabite, who decided to stay with her mother-in-law and return to Bethlehem. As Ruth gleaned in the fields, she caught the eye of Boaz, a distant relative. Her life is changed as she marries Boaz and has a child. Ultimately Ruth joined the lineage of Jesus, the Messiah, as she became the great-grandmother of King David.

Just as Ruth, each of us needs redemption. Our relationship with Jesus Christ provides this as He redeems those who follow Him. You will be encouraged as you watch this message. Dave is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Leighton Ford Ministries.
