Living This Side of The Resurrection
Roger Parrott, a long-time friend of LFM, shares this week’s Sunday Extra. As well as serving as the President of Belhaven University in Mississippi, he also LFM’s board chair. During a series he preached in Belhaven’s chapel on the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, this message deals with how the resurrection impacts our lives today.
He Sustains Everything
Today, let’s pray together for Roger Parrott and his family. Their twenty-seven-year-old daughter, Madison, has been in bed for over four years with Long COVID. They have worked with the Mayo Clinic, but they still do not have solutions. Roger shares, “She only has strength to be awake a few hours a day. We are praying for her healing and would be thankful for your prayers for her.”
We know from the Scriptures that, not only did Jesus Christ conquer death, hell, and the grave in His death and resurrection, but He “sustains everything by the mighty power of His command” (Hebrews 1:3 NLT). Would you pray in faith – together with us at LFM – that the Lord of all creation would bring a complete and thorough healing to Madison? And let’s also pray for the Lord’s sustaining grace, courage, and strength for the Parrott family.
