Directions
Greetings to you in Christ’s name, Sunday Extra friend. Today, Bryon Yeo, who pastors Centerpoint Church Roseville, California, shares God’s Word with us. The church he pastors has partnered with LFM in a recent visioning process. Our work with them includes a season of discernment as they seek clarity from the Lord for vision and direction for a new season. Click here to learn more about our visioning process with churches. This message, called “Directions,” looks at specific ways God guided His people in Scripture. It points us to expecting the Lord to direct our lives today as well.
Leading & Guiding
Today, let’s pray for Centerpoint Church in Roseville as they launch their new church vision today, April 27. They share, “We are over the moon and excited to see God at work in a new and dynamic way. Please pray for all the components involved as we join the Lord in his work!” We rejoice in our faithful Guide, who promises, “And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them” (Isaiah 42:16 ESV).
Pray also for Anne Grizzle, one of LFM’s mentors, who has been in Kazakstan leading mentor training for Eurasian leaders. The Eurasian Lausanne leader of these mentors and his wife recently lost a son in a car accident. Please pray for them as they grieve and for the Lord to care for them during this difficult time.
