Mentoring Conference & Birthday Lunch Update
It is with great disappointment that we have decided to postpone all in-person celebrations of our Dad’s 90th birthday in October. The resurgence of the coronavirus has, once again, disrupted plans for many events here in North Carolina and beyond.
While we hope to have a celebration in a few months, we still want to honor Dad. We will plan to have a Zoom celebration or two and will send more details out shortly. Dad will be interviewed at Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte on Sunday morning, October 24, and that will be live-streamed. Unless plans change, that will be at 10:30 am eastern time at https://myersparkpres.org/live/.
We are tentatively planning a Zoom birthday party on Sunday October 24 at 5 pm eastern and Monday October 25 at 9 am eastern. This should allow maximum participation from people who live in various time zones across the world.
