Can God Still Use Me?
Have you ever felt that, because of your past failures or sins, God can’t use you anymore?
Today, David Swanson, who serves as one of LFM’s Strategic Advisors, discusses this question. Looking at the cautionary account of Samson in the book of Judges, David reminds us that sometimes we feel beyond God’s ability to work through our lives. In those moments, we can come to Him in humility and experience the ever-abounding grace of God.
PAUSE AND PRAY
When Samson prayed, “Sovereign LORD, remember me again,” (Judges 16:28 NLT), God intervened and used this judge to accomplish his life’s purpose. We too, when marked by sinful patterns, failure, or unfulfillment, can pray, “Lord, remember me.”
STAY TUNED
Next week, Stephan Tchividjian tells us about Samuel, the Prophetic Voice, and how in the midst of God’s call, we must take up the posture of listening to Him.
