A Generous Attitude
Today, our friend Rhett Wilson shares God’s Word with us. Rhett serves on staff at LFM, helping with our communications and mentoring initiatives. He also serves as a bivocational pastor in South Carolina. Rhett wrote a book for families called The 7 Ps of Prayer: A Simple Method to Pray for Your Family.
During a winter series on the church’s core values, Rhett talks about possessing a generous attitude. Beginning with an example from Old Testament David and then walking through Paul’s passage about hilarious generosity in 2 Corinthians 9, Rhett reminds us that God is the Source of all we need in our lives.
Partnering Together
LFM is partnering with Church United of South Florida to start Attentive Church cohorts. These cohorts help churches thrive by discovering their unique contribution to their local community so that more people know God more deeply, connect with others, and serve their communities more effectively. Often in the process we also see pastors forming deep, healthy connections with other ministry leaders. Let’s pray together this week for the Lord to be at work through this partnership between LFM and Church United, and for the result to be healthy leaders who lead thriving ministries for the glory of God.
