A Different Rhythm
Steve Turnbull, friend of LFM, shares God’s Word with us this morning on our Sunday Extra. Kevin Ford has partnered with this Ohio congregation in a pastoral transition process that was instrumental in Steve accepting this call. Following that transition Jim Singleton has provided follow up coaching for Steve. Today he helps us reflect on why the sabbath could shape us in new and freeing ways. May we listen to a different rhythm for our lives.
A Unique Experience
In January, one of LFM’s newest mentoring groups met for their first retreat. The Brazilian Band of Brothers, B3, gathered in Northern Ireland with participants coming from places like Jordan, Indonesia, Brazil, Frances, Japan, Bolivia, Portugal and the USA.
Homero Aziz, who leads the group, shared, “To see God move during our first encounter was something I will never forget. . . . I personally felt during our mentoring gathering that I was doing what I am called to do. It was a unique experience. If there was any fear in the past to mentor a group, it is all gone. Thank you for supporting my requests and all you did to make this happen. May God keep using LFM to bless the nations.”
Let’s pray today for this group of pastors and missionaries as they continue in the various works to which God has called them.
