Wake Up from Your Slumber
Greetings today, friend of LFM. Jim Singleton, LFM’s Executive Director of North American Mentoring Services, shares God’s Word with us on this Lord’s Day. Speaking from a church in Texas, he looks at the need to wake up spiritually and not slumber through life. Grab a copy of the Bible and turn to Romans 13:11-14, and may the Lord stir and strengthen you as you listen.
Mature in Christ
This week, please pray for Leighton’s health. He will begin 6 weeks of radiation and chemo for bladder cancer. He hopes to be back to full strength by early Summer. Pray for the doctors and caregivers who will be so important to him over the coming months. Also, pray for our leaders who are building on relationships established through Lausanne IV. We have unprecedented opportunities to build an international community devoted to mentoring. We currently have nearly 70 active LFM Mentoring Communities around the world. Please pray with us as we continue forward in a new year of ministry. May the Lord help us to keep sharing the Lord Jesus, “warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this [we] toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within [us].” (Colossians 1:28 ESV).
