How Can I Know My Life’s Call?
Who in your life helps you hear and know God’s call? And who helps you to discern what God brings out of your life that you may be unaware of?
When believers wrestle with the idea of calling, we think of both internal and external callings. At times, God deals with us very individually, specific to our inner self. In other moments, God works through other people to speak into our lives, sharpen us, and guide us into our next steps. Today, LFM’s Jim Singleton takes us to the calling of young David in 1 Samuel 16. In that dynamic passage, David receives a life-altering call and sense of direction through the voice and hands of the prophet Samuel.
