Jeanie’s Vision: Enjoying the Gift of Encouragement
Enjoying the Gift
Jean Graham Ford knew firsthand the impact of faithful mentorship. She witnessed the influence of her brother Billy Graham and the way mentorship shaped Leighton Ford and countless ministry leaders around the world. In Charlotte, North Carolina, many were strengthened by Jeanie’s quiet counsel and steady encouragement.
On October 22, more than 100 people gathered in Charlotte to celebrate that legacy and look ahead. Leighton Ford Ministries officially launched Jeanie’s Vision, an initiative designed to mentor and raise up a new generation of evangelists in the United States and across the globe.
Through generous gifts and pledges, more than $500,000 has been raised toward a five-year need of $1.8 million. Together, we are fostering relationships, deepening spiritual health, and multiplying leaders who carry the Gospel into diverse cultural contexts. The In-Between
Leighton Ford Ministries exists to help ministry leaders be healthy so they can lead thriving ministries for the sake of the Gospel. Through mentoring, coaching, and visioning, we walk alongside pastors, evangelists, churches, and organizations as they seek their True North.
The week between Christmas and the new year is often called the lost week. For many pastors and their families, it follows an intense season of preaching, travel, and care for others. This in-between time offers a moment to pause.
We invite you to pray for pastors and ministry leaders this week. From God’s glorious and unlimited resources, may He “empower [them] with inner strength through His Spirit” (Ephesians 3:16 NLT). A note or text of encouragement to your pastor this week can be a meaningful gift at just the right time.
