A Powerful Reminder
How does God feel about me? Today, Cedric Portis, who participates in one of our peer mentoring groups, speaks from the church he serves in intercity St. Louis, Missouri. Cedric looks at Luke 15, a passage many of us are very familiar with. He asks the question, “How does God feel about me?” The answer to this question is essential for us to remember. As Cedric deals with this text about finding lost things, may you rejoice in the deep love God has for you.
Rooted and Built Up
Leighton Ford Ministries supports mentoring groups all over the world to help ministry leaders be healthy and lead thriving ministries. One of those groups, Resilience, met recently at Point Lonsdale, Victoria, in Australia. The entire group was able to attend, and their days together included rich time practicing listening to each other and the Lord. 2025 will mark the ten-year anniversary of this group.
Wei-Hai, their leader, shares, “Thank you so much for the support which made it possible for fresh-out-of-college ministers to be blessed by the peer mentoring community experience. I do not think it would have happened without your financial encouragement. Every member of the group expressed their gratitude to LFM for this.”
Let’s pray for the Resilience group as they go back to their various areas of life and ministry. May they “continue to live in Him [Christ], rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith” (Colossians 2:6 NIV).
