New Strength
Today on Sunday Extra, we welcome Stephan Tchividjian, who is preaching at a church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where Kevin Ford has provided board governance consulting. In a sermon series from Matthew’s Gospel, he teaches about the account of the Mount of Transfiguration, where the disciples see Jesus changed into His glorified state. Stephan, the Founder and President of the National Christian Foundation of South Florida, is Kevin Ford’s cousin and is on LFM’s Strategic Advisory Board. May the Lord transform our lives as we hear His Word today.
How You Can Pray
As we move into the summer months, please pray with us for upcoming ministry opportunities. This week, Kevin Ford will lead a visioning process for a church in McKinney, Texas. And Mark Slaughter is helping to lead a retreat in Dallas, Texas, for young female evangelists.
We plan to provide an update on Leighton’s health in the coming weeks. He has been in good health and spirits, following his surgery on May 31. Please continue to pray for his strength and well-being.
May the Lord enable us all to “find new strength” (Isaiah 40:31 NLT) these days as we lean on Him.
