God’s Interruptions
For the first Sunday of Advent, we welcome Marnie Crumpler of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to Sunday Extra. She shared this message last year during the Christmas season. Listen as she walks us through the text of Luke 1, when God interrupted Mary’s life with His divine plan. Marnie participates in our Discipleship Initiative through a grant from a generous donor to LFM. As we equip her, she has enlisted people in her congregation to disciple. We hope to see many more pastors equipped to lead discipleship mentoring groups.
Establish The Work
We are thankful for the friends on the journey God has brought alongside of LFM. Today, pray with us for Dr. Roger Parrott, LFM’s Board Chair. Roger serves as President of Belhaven University, one of the fastest-growing Christian universities in the United States – with nine campuses. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Lausanne Movement. Let’s pray for the Lord to keep Him close to Jesus and filled with grace and wisdom. And as the psalmist prayed, “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands” (Psalm 90:17 NIV).
