Where Do I Point?
What if your greatest purpose is not having your own name known, but the knowing of and pointing to a name greater than yours?
Today, LFM’s Strategic Advisor, Bishop Claude Alexander, takes us to John chapter 1 to look again at John the Baptist. John’s primary task was not to claim a title, but to point the way for someone else. He told his own disciples, “‘Look, the Lamb of God!’” (John 1:36 NIV). And two of those disciples then left him to begin following Jesus.

What if your primary call from God is to support someone else, not to star? John’s joy was directly tied to Jesus’ success. The measure of our ministry may not be in what we keep, but in what we willingly release. How is God calling you in this season to use your gifts to support what someone else is doing? How can you help release others into their own callings?
