Interruptions
Life contains many changes, setbacks, and disruptions. Today, LFM’s founder, Leighton Ford, speaks to us about those interruptions, and how we can trust the Lord in the midst of them. Drawing from Isaiah 40 and sitting in his backyard, he shares from his own life and the Scriptures. Listen as Leighton reminds us that, in spite of the many disruptions in our world, God is offering hope and truth, and we have Good News to proclaim.
Reverberating through Eurasia
Thirteen Christian leaders from across Eurasia recently gathered near Almaty, Kazakhstan, to take part in an LFM mentoring gathering. Sergei, a pastor from Moscow, shared, “The Lord opened a whole new realm of mentoring to me at the retreat.” This was LFM’s first dual language training in English and Russian. Let’s pray this week for Sergei and the other twelve mentees as they seek to implement what they learned about whole-life mentoring. These ministry leaders came from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Crimea. LFM board member Anne Grizzle, one of our facilitators for the training, said, “The fruit from this is likely to reverberate very widely through Eurasia for years and generations to come.”
