Do You Love Me?
“Do you love me?” (John 21:15 NLT).
The question was not, “Why did you fail?’ or “What will you do differently? But Jesus asked, “Do you love me?” And with this simple question, the risen Christ initiated restoration in Peter’s life. Calling was restored the same way it was first received: through encounter, not achievement.

Where has failure or discouragement caused you to withdraw from engaging and serving God and others? What would it mean this week to return to the question Jesus asks — not, “How will I fix what went wrong?’ but “Do I love him?” Let that be the foundation of your next steps in following Jesus.
