If You Love One Another
Deeper discipleship thrives through intentional relationships where we love, sharpen, and encourage one another. Dr. Jack Peebles has been a long-time ministry partner of LFM and serves as one of our Senior Leadership Coaches. Jack also serves as Senior Associate Pastor at a large church in Orlando, Florida. Today, looking at John 13:34-35, Jack asks the question, “Who are the people who loved you into being?” And he shares from his own life the story of one mentor’s deep impact on his life, faith, and career. That mentor happens to be the President of Leighton Ford Ministries, Dave McKechnie. Listen as Jack challenges us to be the difference-maker in the lives of others.
Still Bearing Fruit
This week, we want to thank God for Leighton Ford coming through back surgery successfully last week. We praise the Lord for the life he continues to live. Let’s ask God to continue to strengthen, comfort, and guide Leighton. The psalmist wrote, “The righteous will flourish like a palm tree . . . . They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green” (Psalm 92:12-14 NIV).
Also, LFM is excited about moving forward with our new ministry venture we call Jeanie’s Vision. Anne Grizzle, the Director for the initiative, asks us to pray the following:
- For the Spirit to lead us to just the right global evangelists to invite to new mentor groups for impacting the next generations for the gospel
- For our partnerships with vital organizations for thriving evangelists
