Is God Asking Too Much of Me?
Have you ever felt God was asking too much of you? Perhaps it’s to engage in a difficult conversation, accept a new responsibility, or forgive someone who hurt you? Or maybe you are forced to trust Him in a new season when nothing feels certain.
Today LFM’s friend, Will Torres, a pastor in South Florida, takes us to Jeremiah chapter one, when God called Jeremiah to the task of prophet. One myth in following God is to think that people He uses have to feel ready or qualified. But the record of Scripture reveals He invites people into tasks and areas where they often feel in over their heads. And in doing so, they learn to trust Him.

What difficult, true, or costly thing has God placed in your mouth to speak — the word you have been withholding because you assumed you are not the right person to say it? This week, speak it. The call came before the credential.
