Joy in The Journey
Marnie Crumpler from Grace Church continues a series on “Joy in the Journey” this week. If you missed the first one, click here. Marnie participates in our new Discipleship Initiative. Its goal is to help local congregations build a discipleship culture. Marnie and her husband, Mark Crumpler, both serve at Grace Church and take part in the initiative.
The Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation
Marnie asks us to pray for GRACE Church Bethlehem as they move into their new church campus in March 2023. Ask the Lord that many will find and follow Jesus and that for generations the church will shine the love of Jesus in the Lehigh Valley.
This week our LFM staff and board will gather in Charlotte, North Carolina. Included in our meeting will be a concert of prayer to pray for the Lord’s work across the globe. Will you pray with us for the Lord to grant wisdom, grace, and vision to all involved? Pray the apostle Paul’s words with us: “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe” (Ephesians 1:15-19 NIV).
Also, today Leighton and Jean Ford help officiate the funeral of a long-time friend, Mary Lynn Moser, at Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. View her obituary here. Please pray for her family, including her husband Tom, as they mourn her loss. Tom is on LFM’s Strategic Advisory Board.
