Abundant Grace
Greetings to you, Sunday Extra listener. Today we welcome LFM’s own Jim Singleton, our Executive Director of North American Mentoring Services, who shares God’s Word with us. Listen as he preaches a sermon from Romans 4 he recently delivered at a church in Texas.
Jim reminds us of how God credited righteousness to Abraham on the basis of his faith. We can ask ourselves, “Are we trusting Christ alone for our salvation – exercised by faith alone and on the basis of grace alone?” May the Lord refresh us today with His abundant grace.
Praying for the World
One of the many resources offered by the Lausanne Movement are weekly prayer guides to inspire and inform the whole church to pray for the whole world. Using this free tool, you could start a mission-minded movement in your church or small group. Praying for the World aims to help churches around the world see the big picture of how God is moving in our world today, cultivate greater awareness of global missional needs and opportunities, and mobilize prayer and loving action.
