When You’ve Hit Rock Bottom
Leighton Ford Ministries walks alongside ministry leaders and organizations as friends on the journey. We do not offer formulas. We listen. We ask thoughtful questions. We create space for leaders to hear God’s voice and respond with courage.
Mentoring American Pastors
Through our Mentoring American Pastors initiative, partially funded by a grant from the Lilly Endowment, we invest in the spiritual and emotional health of pastors. This week, two LFM coaches are participating in the initiative’s annual gathering. Pray for wisdom and humility as we continue serving pastors across North America and beyond.
Remembering Jean Graham Ford
Today we also remember Jean Ford, who passed from this earth into the Lord’s presence two years ago on February 29. We are grateful for her life, and we rejoice in our hope in Christ, through “whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God” (Romans 5:2 NIV).
When You’ve Hit Rock Bottom
The prophet Jonah ran from God and found himself in the belly of a fish. What seemed like punishment was mercy. In the depths, Jonah prayed a raw and honest prayer of repentance. He discovered that even there, God was near.
On this week’s Sunday Extra, Marnie Crumpler teaches from Jonah 2 and reminds us that when we hit the wall or feel the weight of our choices, God hears our cry. He restores. He renews. He sends us forward in grace.
Marnie serves a congregation in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, currently in the third year of LFM’s discipleship initiative.
Listen now and be strengthened for the journey.
