A deep spiritual searching is growing in the next generation as God stirs hearts and leaders witness fresh Gospel impact across campuses and communities. At this year’s Leadership Breakfast Group Christmas gathering in Charlotte, where more than 300 community leaders gathered, apologist and evangelist Cliffe Knechtle shared what he is seeing every day on university quads: students spending hours wrestling with questions of faith, purpose, and meaning. The hunger is real, and the conversations are honest.
A Legacy of Leadership and Gospel Influence
More than twenty years ago, Leighton Ford launched a monthly Bible Study and breakfast for influential leaders in Charlotte. Their annual Christmas gathering has become a place where leaders across the city hear the hope of Christ and are encouraged in their calling. This week’s event again reminded us that God is moving in ways that shape both local communities and the next generation.
As we consider this moment, we also remember the mission of LFM: to mentor a new generation of missional leaders who will sustain healthy, thriving ministries for the sake of the Gospel. We are grateful for you and every partner who supports this work and walks with us in prayer and encouragement.
