Keeping Yourself Sharp

A Heart of Wisdom

As a new year begins, Scripture invites us to pause and reflect on how we live and lead. Moses’ words in Psalm 90:15-16 call us to “number our days so that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” This prayer reminds us that lasting impact flows from dependence on God, not from busyness or outward success.

At LFM, our mission is to mentor a new generation of missional leaders who sustain thriving ministries for the sake of the Gospel. We focus on shaping people with spiritual depth who can lead with clarity, humility, and endurance.

Please join us in prayer as we seek God’s wisdom for the year ahead. Pray also for Mark Slaughter, LFM’s International Ambassador, as he ministers to tens of thousands of church leaders at a major leadership conference in Nigeria. Through this gathering, leaders from around the world are mobilized to strategically advance the Gospel. Will you pray for his travel, health, and safety in this time?

Keeping Yourself Sharp

In this week’s Sunday Extra, Rhett Wilson, Sr., LFM’s Senior Communications Director, shares a practical message from Ecclesiastes 11:1–6. Drawing from biblical wisdom, Rhett challenges us to stay spiritually sharp and proactive so God can continue using our lives to fulfill our potential and impact others.
