Helping Ministry Leaders Be Healthy

The purpose of our mentoring is to enhance the spiritual, emotional, and relational health of leaders. Under the direction of one trained mentor, they meet for a retreat at least yearly and stay connected throughout the year. Spiritual mentoring is helping people pay attention to what God is doing in their lives and respond in faith, without an agenda.

We have trained numerous ministry leaders to create and lead mentoring communities made up of 8 to 12 other leaders of Christian ministries. There are currently over 60 LFM mentoring communities around the world! The groups will meet regularly for years, providing safe times, safe places, and safe people. They prayerfully support, guide, and encourage each other in their ministries. Launching a group costs $5000/year to cover travel and accommodation costs for three years; the groups are self-funded beginning their fourth year.

Revitalizing Congregations

We partner with churches across the country helping them to discover their True North, to leverage their unique calling built on an unchanging Biblical foundation, and to reach their changing culture and communities for Jesus, all evidenced by transformed lives that give glory to God. LFM has worked with pastors and lay leaders of over 1000 congregations and has data from each church showing the success of our approach and revitalizing process.

Attentive Church Cohorts

We take churches through a visioning process designed exclusively for cohorts of smaller congregations, churches of color, and church plants. Leveraging the power of teamwork, we bring together small groups of pastors of like-minded churches in a geographical area and lead them in navigating societal change, identifying and strengthening values and strategies, and developing a fresh vision for a thriving ministry.
