“I had my resignation letter in hand. I was about to quit ministry and go start a mobile phone store to support my family. This trip to India has made me rethink everything. My opposers have given me a hard time, and I was really suffering. Then I heard this young man from India say his father punched him in the face and busted his tooth loose for following Jesus. That made me realize that my suffering was nothing compared to his. I am going back encouraged and strengthened.”

That’s what Moses, a Kenyan youth evangelist in one of our global soul care groups, recently shared after a mentoring group retreat. Moses serves as a youth pastor at the Kimbo All Nations Gospel Church, attended by more than 3500 people, where his father pastors.

Wesley Paul, one of our global mentors, has led LFM’s Arrow Tribe soul care group since 2019.

Seeing the need to start another group, he invited eleven leaders, including Moses, from various parts of the world to form Arrow Tribe II. Wesley shares their response has been “overwhelmingly positive. Many of them have longed for a mentoring program. Each one of these leaders have tremendous national and international impact. Many of them are successful pastors, business men, worship leaders and Gospel artists. I’m uber excited about mentoring this phenomenal group.” Members of Arrow Tribe II come from Egypt, USA, Kenya, India, South Africa, and Nigeria.

The apostle Paul shared, “My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love . . . in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ” (Colossians 2:2 NIV).

To encourage literally means to fill with courage. Moses, this young evangelist, had grown discouraged due to opposition and hardship in his ministry. But through the presence and fellowship of his LFM mentoring group, he was filled with courage to see Christ afresh and continue in what God called him to do. As a result, he will keep sharing the Good News of Christ with many young people in Kenya.

This same mentoring group recently met at an Airbnb for an in-person retreat. Wesley told us, “Our house host noticed our mates cleaning, cooking, and serving one another and commented that they have had many guests, but we were different. This opened up an opportunity to share with them why we were different. Simon and I shared with him Jesus and he prayed with us to receive Jesus into his life. That was beautiful! Tonight, his wife wants to also pray with us and open her heart to Jesus. Both are from the Sikh religion. It’s just been simply wonderful to bring my group here so they are exposed to the different religion, culture and landscape.”

The testimony of Arrow Tribe II captures the heart of LFM. We want to come alongside of pastors, evangelists, and other leaders – and their organizations – to encourage them. As we do, they are able to continue in their callings, sharing the Gospel and expanding the Kingdom in their respective fields all across he world.

Surrender with Shame

Evangelist J. John, longtime friend of LFM who has participated in the Point Group soul care community for thirty years, recently held an Evangelists’ Conference in the United Kingdom. Nearly 300 evangelists gathered in January from the UK and twelve other nations.

J. shared, “Throughout the conference, our chaplains were quietly and faithfully ministering – praying, listening, weeping, encouraging. One of the most sacred moments came as our son, Michael John, led us in Holy Communion. He led us to the cross and something profound happened. There was repentance without condemnation, surrender without shame, and a deep, holy release. It felt as though God was resetting hearts and sharpening callings.”

These many evangelists will return encouraged and empowered to spread the news of Christ all over the UK and beyond. From this conference, J. went on to gather with 150 Scottish evangelists.

Truest Calling

This “resetting hearts and sharpening callings” is why LFM exists. We help leaders and organizations reconnect with their truest calling through spiritual mentoring, coaching, and consulting. In a noisy, performance- riven culture, we invite people into attentive spaces to hear God’s voice, clarify direction, and move forward with joy, courage, and lasting Kingdom fruit.

With the help of seasoned mentors and spiritual discernment processes, leaders and churches rediscover their direction in God. Through spiritual roadmaps, accompaniment, and coaching, they gain clarity for the season ahead. Supported by trusted community and whole-life guidance, leaders are empowered to take real, Spirit-led steps toward renewal, transformation, and lasting impact.

At LFM, we believe the journey to your truest calling begins with Spirit-led discernment—learning to live in deep awareness of God’s presence, attuned to His voice, and confident in His faithfulness.

We don’t come with prepackaged answers or formulas for success. We come as trusted companions—friends and guides who listen deeply, ask intentional questions, and invite people into sacred spaces for leaders and churches to hear God’s voice and respond with courage.

Through LiveCalled—our suite of mentoring, coaching, and consulting services—we help leaders and organizations move from pressure to purpose, from disorientation to clarity, from burnout to joy.

This is the heartbeat of LFM. For over four decades, we’ve walked alongside leaders and churches through pivotal seasons of transition, helping them deepen their roots, renew their sense of calling, and grow in Christlike character.

LiveCalled: Spirit-Led Pathways Toward Your Truest Calling

LiveCalled is the practical, relational path by which LFM helps leaders and churches uncover, clarify, and fully embrace their God-given purpose.

  • For Leaders: We help Christian leaders discover their truest calling, grow deep roots, and lead with wisdom, wholeness, and joy.
  • For Organizations: We guide churches, ministries, and organizations to align around their truest calling—unified in mission, rooted in purpose, and ready for what’s next.

Emerging Evangelists

One way we guide emerging evangelists into their truest calling is through our new global initiative, Jeanie’s Vision. In January, Anne Grizzle, LFM’s Director of Jeanie’s Vision, recently returned from a trip to Egypt after hosting LFM’s first Jeanie’s Vision retreat for evangelists. Seven women, plus two trainers, participated from Argentina, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Ukraine, Germany, Australia, the United States, and Nepal.

Anne reported, “Every woman had an opportunity to share their life story and then have the group listen prayerfully and reflect for them. Most commented they had never been able to tell their whole story with hearts listening so attentively. Their lives are remarkable for the ways they are doing evangelism: violin concerts with Gospel messages, training churches to share Jesus with

29 percent church growth, outreach to refugees with mercy ministry as well as evangelism and discipleship, to name a few.

We listened deeply to one another and our hearts were knit together like family as the fire from each one helped light anew the passion of our work.” Through your faithful praying and giving, you are touching lives like these young evangelists all over the world, helping them find their truest calling, and encouraging them to continue sharing the Gospel in many nations. May God bless you as you do.

Grateful,

Kevin Ford
