Dr. Rhett Wilson, Sr., is a Senior Leadership Coach for Leighton Ford Ministries, bringing years of pastoral leadership experience in preaching and teaching, disciple-making, leadership development, small group ministry, and congregational revitalization.

He studied at Presbyterian College (B.A.), The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (D.Min.) and participated in the Arrow Leadership Program’s North American Class of 2003. Rhett taught as an adjunct professor at Anderson University in South Carolina and completed the Transitional Pastor Training from Lifeway Church Resources.

Rhett is an award-winning writer who loves telling stories, connecting great ideas with people. He served as Senior Writer for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Senior Communications Director for Leighton Ford Ministries, and runs his own business, Hendrix Communications. His book, The 7 Ps of Prayer (End Game Press, 2023), provides a simple method to pray for your family.

He and his wife Tracey have three children. The Wilsons like playing board games, making music, exploring waterfalls, and they look forward to March Madness every year. For fun, Rhett reads legal thrillers, watches adventure movies, and listens to country and Broadway music.
